Berber kilim rug – 100% handmade rug.

This fabulous berber kilim rug will bring joy and charm to your home. It will make your room feel unique and cozy, elevate your interior decoration, and impress your guests. Additionally, this authentic moroccan rug will give your home an art gallery feel because it features a unique design and incorporates a powerful story from the artisan.

✳️ How Our Rugs Are Made: We start by sourcing and gathering the highest quality raw materials, such as live sheep wool from special local markets. We wash the purchased wool, clean it, brush it, and spin it into yarn by hand. Later, we dye the wool using various spice blends so we can add beautiful, natural colors to it, ensuring your kilim rug is vibrant and unique.

We then use a traditional loom to weave our products. Two to three people sit next to each other and work simultaneously to craft your handmade kilim rug. We work together line by line until we finish it, securing the finished line to the bottom by pushing it down using a traditional wooden hammer. This ensures the rug is tight, secure, and built to last.
